I have been teaching hand building and my glazing techniques in my home studio. Each class consists of two sessions on different days: 1) constructing one or more pieces, and 2) applying glazes. Techniques typically involve using molds to form the pieces beginning with a “slab” of clay, and/or using coils of clay to construct a piece. All classes are geared for the beginner to intermediate level student.
Students have a great time and produce individualized pieces. I am always excited to see each person come up with unique pieces that reflect their own personal voice
